Our Mission:

To help people feel at home outside

Our Core Values

Accessibility

The outdoors is for anybody. It is where we belong.

That means keeping gear affordable, designs versatile (technical + everyday), and building a brand that welcomes everyone — not just elite athletes.

Community

Squak is family-owned, and that shapes everything we do.

Our gear is built to help people get outside and make memories with the ones they love—just like we do. And that family extends beyond us to the whole Squak community. We listen, test, and tweak together—because this brand isn’t just ours, it’s yours too.

Adventure

The more we explore, the brighter life becomes

Whether it’s your first hike or your hundredth summit, doing something hard, new, or just outside your comfort zone changes you—and the world—for the better. See our Adventure First Program to push yourself just a little bit.

THE OUTDOORS ARE FOR ANYBODY

We've said it before and we'll say it again

THE OUTDOORS IS FOR ANYBODY

Like we’ve said before, we’re just a bunch of nobodies—just a crew of outdoor lovers who happen to make gear. We’re marathon runners and backpackers, parents and friends, weekend warriors and first-timers. Regular people who believe that the outdoors isn’t an exclusive club—it’s for everybody.

A while back, we sponsored an ultra marathon in a tiny town in Idaho. The day before the race, a local farmer decided to sign up—no fancy gear, no training plan, just grit. He showed up with a single plastic Gatorade bottle, basketball shorts, and a jacket tied around his waist… and finished top ten.

That’s the kind of stuff that inspires us. Sure, we love watching the Olympics, but nothing beats seeing everyday people do something hard, new, or a little wild. Because you don’t need perfect gear or a perfect body to belong out there—you just need to show up.

Because that’s what the outdoors does—it brings out the best in us. It reminds us that we’re capable of more than we think, that fresh air really can fix a bad day, and that shared trails and campfires connect us in ways screens never could. We believe the outdoors matters because it connects you to the world, to the people you love, and to yourself. That’s why we’ll keep doing everything we can to help more people get out there.
