The Lil’ Squak is built for little explorers on the move. Made from the same polyester micro‑grid fleece, it keeps little adventurers warm, dry, and comfortable while they run, climb, and explore.

The adjustable hood replaces the need for a hat (parents, you’re welcome), and thumbholes help seal in warmth when the weather turns chilly.

Care Instructions

Turn your garment inside out, wash gently with cool water and mild detergent. Air-dry when you can, or use low/no heat in the dryer. Skip the bleach, softeners, high heat, or dry cleaning — your gear’s got enough adventure as it is.

I bought two hoody style base layers. One for me and one for my son. Mine didn’t fit as expected, I’m 6’2” and 245#. I ordered an xl and though it fit, out was tighter than I enjoy, so the excellent people at squak exchanged me for a XXL and it fits perfect! I’m going to buy another one for the both of us. My son loves his too ! He wore it skiing today and he looks comfortable in it. I live in Colorado and have some other brands of similar style products and I think this one is my new favorite. Would recommend for the service AND the product. Overall very impressed . Plus the thumb holes really just are the best.

Savage Children Need Tough Fleece

As you may have already guessed, I preside over a gaggle of unwashed little savage cat terrorizing menaces whose shoes and pants constantly have holes in them, no matter how new they are. Squak fleece hoodies one of the few items I have found that can withstand the abuse and torture.

Alaska Gear!

Since receiving these sweaters (one for myself and each of my kiddos (7 and 9)) a week ago, we have worn them everyday! They are not bulky, keep you comfortable, and easily to fit into a day pack. These sweaters have kept us warm on 40 degree (F) days, when it is a bit rainy/dark, in strong winds and as just every day wear in Alaska. They are great as a mid layer or top layer, depending on the weather. I will definitely buy these sweaters again when my kids grow out of them or if additional colors come out. These sweaters are a new necessity for all of our adventures and cozy stay at home days too.
