Squaker Bottle
Squaker Bottle
Backstory (TL;DR: We made a bottle)
A few months back, we spotted someone on Instagram frustrated about not being able to find a skinny bottle that was both durable and lightweight. They wanted something like a mix between a Nalgene and a disposable Smart Water bottle. That post racked up thousands of likes and dozens of comments, and we thought, ‘hey, maybe we could make that happen.’
It’s that kind of thinking that got us into this wild adventure in the first place—filling up our basements with gear, late-night packaging sessions, and marathon chats with manufacturers 🤪.
We reached out to a bunch of manufacturers and finally found one that could almost make exactly what we envisioned. We would’ve loved to use UL HDPE plastic, but selling the MOQ of 20,000 bottles felt a little out of reach. So, we pivoted. And now, here we are, dipping our toes into hydration with something we’re really excited about.

The bottle works well. The fact that it fits in a cup holder is a very handy side benefit. The main benefit is the fact that it fits so well into backpack pockets, I find that average bottle pockets can fit 2 squack bottles similar to smart water bottles. This is valuable as it allows you to carry more water in your pockets as opposed to a single Nalgene, while keeping the ability to make a makeshift hot water bottle in unexpected cold conditions. In my testing I have found that a nalgene 32oz wide mouth cap fits onto the squal but not vice versa, which is fine because it mans that there is a source for replacement caps if need be. I only took a star off because of the triton material which prevents me from using this as a complete replacement for my nalgene in all situations.

Excellent bottle, very well made and fits perfectly in my outside bag pockets without taking space away from the interior compartments. Outstanding customer service too!
So I usually carry backpacks that are more slimline and minimalistic. With that being said, the water bottle pockets often are tight and don't fit some of the more conventional water bottles.
The quake solves this problem! It's significantly thinner than a lot of the alternatives, yet holds as much water. It also looks great! Excited to take it on lots of adventures!
Thanks for the awesome feedback! We're stoked to hear the Squaker is solving the water bottle pocket dilemma while still holding plenty of hydration. Glad you like the look too! We hope it tags along on many more adventures!
Perfect!! Its long, narrow design fits perfectly into my hydro-pack. The hydro part of the pack does not hold enough water for long desert hikes and traditional water bottles are too fat. The Squak bottle solves all problems. It is ideal for me.
Thanks for the fantastic review! We’re so glad the Squak bottle is the perfect fit for your hydro-pack and desert hikes. It’s great to hear it solves the water bottle dilemma while keeping things compact and functional. Happy adventuring!
I would of given it a 5 if it had you made an interchangeable cap that would fit a straw
