Women’s Classic Squak – Grid Fleece Mid-Layer Hoodie

This fleece is extremely soft, it's comfortable, and it's a nice mid-layer for medium warmth. Not quite as warm as a Melanzana, but for a fraction of the cost, this layer is a steal and nicer to wear during activities without overheating. I took this for a light jog in about 40F and kept it on very comfortably. Standing still, it's not as performant in retaining warmth, especially when there is any wind chill.

I love the variety of colors that are offered. My only critique is that anything heavier in the front pocket (like a phone) makes the garment sag from the weight; it could use reinforcement and structure there to make the pocket more useful for carrying things.

I'm 5'3", 120-125lb, tend to have broader shoulders (17") for my size, and also debated heavily between a small and medium. I wear a size small in the Woolie and decided to go with the medium Grid Fleece, and I'm glad I did. It's slightly looser and I can comfortably wear a layer underneath. The extra room also adds to the comfort; it feels like a soft blanket and I literally want to live in this layer all the time!

It's been my favorite hoodie since I bought it during the Black Friday sale. It's just so comfortable! I was torn between ordering S and M since I read the comments about sizing up, but the S fits me perfectly (5'6, 118 lbs). (Granted, in SoCal, I'm not layering over any bulky extra layers. I'd probably order up for more room in the arms if I were.) My workout buddies all want them too now! I'm hoping you add more colors in 2026. I'd love a brighter teal and a more raspberry purple.

I’m 5’10, 145lb, athletic build with long arms and short torso. I was torn between a women’s S and M, and ultimately went with the M. So glad I did, it’s got the perfect amount of room without being baggy, and long sleeves for the long armed girlies!! 🙏

I bought this microgrid hoodie a couple weeks ago, and have genuinely worn it almost every day since. I have worn it as a base layer for skiing, and just out and about. It’s so comfy, I love the fit, and have gotten so many compliments. Overall, I’m obsessed.
