We love our overseas manufacturers, but we've always wanted to try making something here. So we did it! The Maverick Alpha is proudly made in the USA. And, we've got to say, it feels good supporting local businesses while creating rad gear for ultralight enthusiasts.
Premium Alpha Direct Fabric
If you know, you know—Polartec Alpha Direct is hard to come by. We secured a big batch of Forest Green in 90 GSM, along with limited runs of 60 and 120 GSM in select colors.
Originally developed in 2012 for the U.S. Military, Polartec Alpha Direct is the ultimate active insulation—warm when you need it, breathable when you don’t.

I always struggle with overheating while hiking in the spring (it's chilly when you start, gets super hot and sweaty in the middle so you take off layers, only to freeze one moment later). This Maverick Alpha has been doing the trick for me! Comfortable, light and breatheable, but warm enough to provide comfort! This is my first time with this fabric and I was worried about how it might hold up, but I've been satisfied so far!

Love this lightweight hoodie. Suprising amount of warmth with very little weight. Is perfect for travel because it won't take up much space in your luggage and can be layered under or over! Fit was true to size but I could have gone down to medium.

First love the bright orange color. The fabric is thinner than the basic grid which is great too, so this would work for cool days where extra weight not needed, or as a mid layer.

Lightweight and breathable! It’s just perfect for a chilly run or hike! And flamingo pink! My favorite color but I’m going to need more than one! I’ve used it for several morning runs, I love how the air flows through the fabric yet it keeps you warm enough!
