Historia de fondo ( TL;DR: Hicimos una botella)
Hace unos meses, vimos a alguien en Instagram frustrado por no encontrar una botella delgada que fuera duradera y ligera. Quería algo parecido a una combinación entre una Nalgene y una botella desechable Smart Water. Esa publicación acumuló miles de "me gusta" y docenas de comentarios, y pensamos: "Quizás podamos lograrlo".

Es ese tipo de pensamiento lo que nos llevó a esta aventura salvaje en primer lugar: llenar nuestros sótanos con equipo, sesiones de empaquetado hasta altas horas de la noche y charlas maratónicas con los fabricantes 🤪.

Contactamos con varios fabricantes y finalmente encontramos uno que podía fabricar casi exactamente lo que imaginábamos. Nos hubiera encantado usar plástico HDPE UL, pero vender la cantidad mínima de pedido de 20 000 botellas parecía algo inalcanzable. Así que cambiamos de estrategia. Y ahora, aquí estamos, incursionando en la hidratación con algo que nos entusiasma mucho.

Con un peso ligero de 177 g, pero con capacidad para 947 ml de tu bebida favorita, esta botella cabe fácilmente en el bolsillo lateral de la mochila o en el portavasos del coche.

Fabricada con plástico Tritan robusto y resistente a los impactos, la botella Squaker aguanta los golpes del sendero o la rutina diaria. Llénala con té de hierbas de agujas de pino bien caliente en una mañana fría o con agua helada para pescar trucha bajo el sol de verano. Es libre de BPA, a prueba de fugas y lo suficientemente resistente para cualquier aventura.

My Favorite water bottle!

Some nitpicks

Overall a good product, not exactly what I was looking for. I like that it fits in side pockets better, but it is a little top heavy when empty, I’ve had it blown over by the wind and tip over in a bottle filler that wasn’t perfectly flat. I also don’t find it to have the same threads as a Nalgene. Same diameter, but requires more turns to close, and my Nalgene to small mouth cap doesn’t fully seal because of the different thread pitch.

Best Water Bottle!

I replaced all my smart water bottles with these for backpacking and hiking. I use the nalgene splash guard insert and it fits perfect. It's a bit heavier than a smart water bottle but they don't squish from backpack pockets and slip into them easier. Another huge benefit is they last longer than smart water bottles. They fit in cup holders too. Got the recommendation from Backcountry Exposure on YouTube.
