This, simply stated, is a phenomenal sun hoody.
Every sun hoody has the classic problem: be light enough to not be warm and be durable to not fall apart on the first use.
This sun hoody nails the balance. Ive used it for ~50 days of alpine romping in the High Sierra with lost of rough love with granit and its holding up really well.
Feels good! Moves Good! Keeps me safe from the sun!

I bought the Squak sun hoody to test it out as I prepare for my upcoming long distant hike of the AT. I was skeptical about wearing long sleeves in hot weather, but the fabric is so light you don’t notice it. Additionally, once your sweat begins to wick from your body the hoody acts as a cooling agent. Add to that the sun and bug protection, it can’t be beat. Well constructed, cool colors…I immediately went back and bought a second. Highly recommended.

Tried out my sun hoodie on a 100 mile bike ride on a day with a head advisory, and it was up to the task! Kept me as cool as possible while providing plenty of coverage from the sun. My only note is the same as everyone else’s, a desire for integrated thumb holes. But for the price, it’s perfect. I’ll be purchasing a hoodie next!
I’m 5’5”, 150lbs and the medium fits perfectly.
