Der Squak Damen Fleece Mid-Layer Grid Hoodie

I purchased this wondering a couple of things: would it be long enough (I have a longer torso)? Would the hood be annoying and in the way when not in use? Would I reach for it (that really is the test, am I right?)? The answers: yes, it’s plenty long for me and I imagine just fine for those with shorter torsos; the hood is great!; and I reach for it every day now. I wear it around the house, I wear it on walks in the woods…. Most recently I’ve been wearing it with a lightweight long sleeved merino layer underneath to play pickleball outside in the mornings (the Northeast is finally thawing out……slowly!). In the PBall scenario, especially, this piece shines and shows its true worth. To start, I pull the hood over my visor to keep in the warmth; as I warm up, the hood comes off and the piece breathes exceptionally well. I now own several of these. They are more than worth it! Cannot believe the value in this piece. For reference, I am usually a Medium in women’s tops, and I purchased a medium; I like my tops not super fitted, but with a bit of room- the fit on this is perfect. Thank you, Squak!

Women’s Classic Squak – Grid Fleece Mid-Layer Hoodie

Love this fleece hoodie. Fit is perfect. I ordered a med. My chest is 36B. Not boxy and not too tight. Cozy sweater

I love the generous hood and adjustability, it fits over thick braided hair. Not sure on how stretchy the material is compared to my other grid fleece this is replacing. I can’t decide if it feels more luxurious or flimsy. I’d say it’s a tiny bit too long for my torso. The thumb holes are well placed and don’t cause rotation or pulling of the sleeve.

My friends had told me about their grid fleeces for a while now and I am so glad I finally got myself one! It kept me cozy on my flight to Colorado and was the perfect layer to have on for hikes in the windy mountains! Could not be happier!
